There are three phases of the popcorn season, starting August 1st, 2011.
ONLINE SALES PHASE
This phase enables scouts to sell popcorn online, and the money they raise from 8/1/2011 — 12/9/2011 (the entire popcorn selling season), will go towards their total sales that helps them earn prizes, their efforts to reach the $600 club, and other prizes levels.
This phase can be used to help scouts earn computer related skills, letter writing skills, etc..
You can not use this phase to walk around the neighborhood selling popcorn. This phase is meant to reach out to anyone and everyone the scout knows usually out-of-state or out-of-city areas.
SHOW AND SELL PHASE
This phase has ended. Online sales phase is ongoing through the end of the popcorn season.
TAKE ORDER PHASE
This phase has ended. Online sales phase is ongoing through the end of the popcorn season.
Thanks to the scouts from the 2010 Popcorn Season! Congratulations to our three scouts that Andrew B., Randy H., and Evan
J. who sold over $600 in popcorn and have earned their marshmallow
crossbows, in addition to the 24 other scouts who all sold over $100 in
popcorn and will receive gift cards.
