Youth Protection Training

The Blackland Prairie District along with BSA Central Council has handed down a requirement for all parents and persons who will be involved with the Scouts must complete the Youth Protection Training (YPT) every two years.   This includes any adults or leaders including any parent or guardian who will be involved with the scouts, coming to Den or Pack meetings, campouts, and go-see-its.

To verify that I have your YPT Certificate, please visit the Pack Training Compliance section on the Pack 409 website.  A list of all parents and Akelas who have been recorded as completing the YPT training can be found along with other training completed.

If you are not on the list as YPT completion, please follow the directions on the website (on the right) and complete the training.

THIS IS REQUIRED!

If your training is not recorded -- you can not attend scouting functions such as camping, go-see-its, and more!  We will start to require this to be compliant with BSA rules and regulations.
